GAA Players Across Europe Get Free Maths Tuition in New Partnership

Gaelic Games Europe and The Tuition Centre have joined forces to offer free access to online maths teaching for GAA players across the continent, in a partnership that puts academic support firmly alongside sporting ambition.

Every player registered with Gaelic Games Europe will receive free access to The Tuition Centre's "Maths Tutor" platform, with more than 20,000 students, along with their families and communities, set to benefit from the initiative.

Players can also avail of discounted access to One-to-One Tuition for the International Baccalaureate (IB) and European Baccalaureate (EB) through The Tuition Centre's Sport and Study EU programme, which is designed to help students continue playing the games they love despite the pressures of state or international exams.

Gaelic Games Europe, formerly known as the European County Board, is the governing body for GAA, Ladies' Gaelic Football, and Camogie across Europe, excluding Britain and Ireland. It oversees more than 100 clubs in over 20 countries, supporting Irish expats and homegrown players from across the continent.

Dan Sheedy, Principal of The Tuition Centre, said:

"A healthy mind needs a healthy body and we often see students giving up sport at the time they need it the most. With The Tuition Centre support programmes, we hope to see more students continue to enjoy the benefits of exercise and team sports while they navigate what can often be the most stressful time of their lives so far - and that, for me, would be a big win."

Chris Collins from Gaelic Games Europe said:

"We've been bringing the best of Irish to the rest of Europe in the form of Gaelic Games for almost half a century now, and it means the world to be able to bring another solution from home to support our players in this very meaningful way. We would be nothing without our communities and this partnership with the Tuition Centre feels like a modern manifestation of meitheal."
