Final Line-up Announced as Guinness Cork Jazz Festival Sells Out Shows

With just two weeks to go until the 47th Guinness Cork Jazz Festival, organisers have announced the final line-up as tickets disappear fast for Ireland's biggest city-based music festival.

The October Bank Holiday Weekend (23-27 October) will once again transform Cork into a musical powerhouse, with more than 500 musicians performing across 100 events in nearly 80 venues. From intimate ticketed shows to the free Guinness Music Trail, the festival promises an unbeatable mix of jazz, soul, funk, hip-hop, world sounds and beyond.

Several shows have already sold out completely, including legendary funk collective Cymande, LA hip-hop pioneers The Pharcyde, roots reggae heroes The Congos, Le Boom, TBL8 Brass and Dublon. Irish favourites Maverick Sabre and Khakikid have sold out their initial shows and added extra dates, which are also close to capacity.

Meanwhile, JP Cooper, Luke Thomas, Ross From Friends, James Holden & Waclaw Zimpel, and Stella Sings Ella are all down to their final few tickets, with organisers urging fans to book quickly to avoid disappointment.

The festival has also unveiled its final support acts, showcasing both established and emerging talent. Local hero Shane Johnson (Fish Go Deep) will support Jeff Mills "Tomorrow Comes The Harvest", while Dublin RnB star Aby Coulibaly opens for Sienna Spiro. Belfast's soul queen Winnie Ama will launch her debut album "D3KA" on support for Cymande.

Additional fresh names joining the line-up include Chip Wickham, Monjola, Summer Pearl, Melina Malone, Celaviedemai, F3miii, Chameleon, FyaRed, JarJarJr and Ahmed, With Love, all set to bring new sounds to Cork's biggest music weekend.

The headline acts span a remarkable range of genres and generations. Lee Fields & The Expressions bring soulful power, whilst Orchestra Baobab deliver timeless rhythms alongside the gospel energy of Annie & The Caldwells. Rejjie Snow offers smooth hip-hop grooves, Nubya Garcia and Adrian Younge Orchestra provide groundbreaking sounds, and rising star Sienna Spiro showcases stunning vocals alongside the brilliant Tolü Makay.

The festival's reach extends well beyond Cork city centre, with venues in Douglas and Kinsale also hosting events, making it a key cultural draw for both domestic and international visitors. Spontaneous pop-up gigs and The Big Fringe street performances will add to the atmosphere throughout the weekend.

The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival is supported by Diageo, Fáilte Ireland, Cork City Council and Cork Airport. Tickets and the full programme are available at guinnesscorkjazz.com.
