ESET Launches New Security Suites to Protect Irish Consumers and Businesses
ESET launches upgraded security suites in Ireland to combat scams, phishing and ransomware targeting consumers and small businesses across the country.
ESET has unveiled upgraded security products aimed at helping Irish households and small businesses defend against rising threats including scams, phishing attacks and ransomware.
The global cybersecurity company launched its next-generation ESET HOME Security and ESET Small Business Security suites in Ireland on 22 October 2025, as part of a worldwide rollout. The update introduces several new features including Ransomware Remediation, Microphone Monitor and Website Security Inspector, alongside an expanded VPN service now available across more product tiers.
The launch comes as digital threats become increasingly sophisticated and widespread across Ireland's economy. ESET says the upgrades respond to growing demand for privacy protection and scam defence among both consumers and businesses.
George Foley, spokesperson for ESET Ireland, said:
"Scams are now part of everyday business and consumer life. From fake delivery texts and invoice redirection to cloned websites and phishing emails, the threats are constant. This launch delivers stronger, simpler protection for both households and small companies that need enterprise-grade security without the overhead."
ESET Small Business Security targets firms with up to 25 devices, offering multi-device protection and ransomware recovery with minimal setup requirements. The product is particularly relevant for Ireland's small business sector, which represents 99.8 per cent of all enterprises in the country, with more than 92 per cent classified as micro-businesses.
For Irish consumers, ESET HOME Security provides enhanced scam and phishing defence alongside greater privacy protections when shopping or banking online. The suite aims to address the surge in fraudulent delivery notifications, fake invoices and cloned websites targeting households.
Both solutions support Windows, macOS, Android and iOS devices, with Windows Server protection included for business users. The products combine AI-driven threat detection with human expertise, offering 24/7 real-time defence and local support from ESET Ireland.
ESET's upgrade strengthens its position in Ireland's cybersecurity market as digital threats continue to evolve. The company describes itself as a science-driven security provider protecting millions of customers and hundreds of thousands of companies worldwide, with a prevention-first approach to security.
