An Garda Síochána has confirmed it responded to a serious incident in Ballinlough, Cork City, this evening.
A number of people have been conveyed to hospital following the incident on Monday, 17th November 2025.
Gardaí have stated that as the investigation is in its early stages, they are not in a position to provide any further information at this time.
There is no ongoing incident and further information is expected to be provided in the morning.

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a reported double stabbing incident at a house in Shrewsbury Downs, Ballinlough, Cork.
Gardaí and national ambulance crews were called to the residential area this evening following reports of the incident. One person is said to have been arrested in connection with the incident.
