Eleven Men Arrested in Ireland on International Warrants for Serious Crimes

Gardaí have arrested 11 men wanted for serious crimes across Europe and Northern Ireland during a three-day operation targeting international fugitives in Ireland.

The coordinated action took place from 3rd to 5th November 2025, led by the Garda Extradition Unit with support from other sections of the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

The arrests occurred across four counties: Dublin, Cavan, Meath and Monaghan. All 11 men have been brought before the High Court to face extradition proceedings.

The men are wanted in connection with serious offences committed in Northern Ireland, Poland, Romania, Netherlands, Italy, Hungary, Germany and Lithuania. The charges they face include attempted murder, drug supply, kidnapping, facilitation of illegal immigration, human trafficking, theft and road traffic offences.

This operation demonstrates the ongoing cooperation between Irish law enforcement and international police forces in tracking down suspects who have fled their home jurisdictions.

As the cases are now before the High Court, An Garda Síochána has stated they cannot provide further comment on the matters at this time.

The successful operation highlights Ireland's commitment to international law enforcement cooperation and ensures that those accused of serious crimes cannot simply cross borders to avoid justice.
