Dublin Airport has confirmed that Terminal 2 has been evacuated as a precautionary measure.
The airport stated that the safety and security of passengers and staff is their absolute priority.
Passengers are being directed to designated assembly points, with the airport asking everyone to follow the instructions of airport staff.

Flight operations may be temporarily impacted as a result of the evacuation. The airport is advising passengers to check with their airline for the latest updates on their flights.
DAA spokesperson:
"Dublin Airport can confirm that Terminal 2 has been evacuated as a precautionary measure. The safety and security of our passengers and staff is our absolute priority."
An Garda Síochána confirmed they are currently at the scene of the incident at Dublin Airport. In a statement to Cork Safety Alerts, Gardaí said that as this is an ongoing operation, no further information is available at this time.
