Update 15:15, the operators of Cross River Ferry state:

Hello Customers,

Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, our ferry service will not operate for the remainder of today. Repair works are currently underway and we are hopeful that normal service will resume tomorrow morning.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience.

We will provide a further update as soon as more information becomes available.

The Cross River Ferry has been suspended due to mechanical issue. Service will resume when possible.
