County Mayor's Charity Gala heads to Youghal for a "Summer by the Sea" celebration

Cork County Mayor Mary Linehan Foley is bringing this year's annual charity gala to her hometown of Youghal, with a seaside-themed evening of food, music and fundraising set for Saturday, 2nd May.

The County Mayor's Charity Gala 2026 will take place at the Walter Raleigh Hotel from 6pm, raising funds for three Cork-based charities: RNLI Youghal, Down Syndrome Cork, and Cancer Connect Youghal.

Guests are encouraged to embrace the "Summer by the Sea" theme, with flowing dresses and bright summer shirts welcome on the night. The evening will include a drinks reception on arrival, a three-course dinner celebrating local produce, live entertainment, dancing, and a charity raffle with proceeds going directly to the three chosen charities.
