Cork to Light Up for Charity Night Run This Wednesday
Run The Night Cork takes place this Wednesday at 8pm from Marina Market, a five-mile charity run open to all in aid of Little Blue Heroes.
Runners of all ages and abilities are invited to take to the streets of Cork this Wednesday night for Run The Night, a five-mile charity run in aid of the Little Blue Heroes Foundation.
The event takes place on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, starting at 8pm from Marina Market. The course is fully marshalled, professionally chip-timed, and designed to be safe and inclusive for everyone, from seasoned runners to complete beginners.
Run The Night is more than just a race. The series, which also visits Dublin on 18 February and Luxembourg on 4 March, aims to bring communities together through running while raising funds for meaningful local causes. The Cork and Dublin events are supported by their respective city councils.
This year's charity partner is the Little Blue Heroes Foundation, a volunteer-led charity established in 2017 that supports families of children with serious illnesses in Ireland. The foundation is led by serving and retired Garda members alongside civic-minded volunteers, and is funded entirely by donations and fundraising, receiving no state funding.

Motorists should be aware of the following road closures in the Marina area on Wednesday evening:
