Cork Summer Show Returns This Father's Day Weekend with 200+ Events and Free Transport
Cork Summer Show returns this Father's Day weekend with 200+ events, free transport & live entertainment from TikTok stars to Mundy at Curraheen Showgrounds.

Cork's biggest agricultural celebration is back at Curraheen Showgrounds on 14th-15th June, promising everything from live chick hatchings to TikTok food stars, with free shuttle buses to ease the journey.
The Munster Agricultural Society's Cork Summer Show is gearing up for what organisers describe as one of their most exciting weekends yet. Now in its 220th year, the event will transform Curraheen Showgrounds into a vibrant celebration of Irish farming heritage, food, and family entertainment across Father's Day weekend.
Gerard Murphy, President of the Munster Agricultural Society, said:
"With just days to go, there's a real buzz around this year's Cork Summer Show. We're set for one of our most exciting weekends yet, with a packed line-up of competitions, live entertainment, food, crafts, and family activities. For over 200 years, the show has been a proud celebration of Cork's farming heritage and community spirit — and that tradition is stronger than ever."
The weekend programme features over 200 events and attractions, from traditional livestock competitions to modern entertainment. Families can explore the Kids' Zone and Funfair, whilst food enthusiasts can catch live cookery demonstrations from TikTok star Edgar Kirby, Orla McAndrew, and The Culinary Celt, Cathy Fitzgibbon. Live entertainment includes performances by Mundy.
Traditional skills demonstrations will showcase walking stick making, basket weaving, and rare breed pig displays. The show features over 800 competition classes across livestock, equestrian, crafts, horticulture and food categories.
This year's official charity partner is My Canine Companion, which provides accredited autism service dogs to children and families across Ireland. The organisation will have a dedicated stand in the show's Relax Space, designed as a calm, inclusive area for families.
Transport arrangements have been carefully planned to reduce congestion. Free shuttle buses will operate throughout the weekend from Ballincollig Shopping Centre, Black Ash Park & Ride, and Curraheen Greyhound Stadium. An extended Bus Éireann 208 route will provide direct service to the showgrounds.
Children under sixteen attend free but require advance online registration. Reduced pricing is available for ages 16-18, with discounted family and group tickets on sale at corksummershow.com.
The Munster Agricultural Society, founded in 1805, moved the show from Ballintemple to its purpose-built Curraheen site in 2012, allowing for expanded agricultural events in a dedicated green field location.
