Cork Racecourse Mallow Racing Home for Easter Festival
Cork Racecourse Mallow hosts the Racing Home for Easter Festival this Saturday to Monday with racing, live music, family fun and a charity fundraiser for Down Syndrome Centre Cork.
Cork Racecourse Mallow is set to host the 'Racing Home for Easter Festival' across three days this weekend, from Saturday 4 April to Bank Holiday Monday 6 April, with top-class racing, live music, and family entertainment on the schedule.
The weekend gets under way with a landmark occasion on Saturday, as the inaugural raceday in aid of Down Syndrome Centre Cork takes place. Inspired by four-year-old Danny Duane from Doneraile, the racecourse has pledged 100% of general admission proceeds to the charity. Alongside competitive flat racing, families can enjoy live music, arts and crafts, face painting, the Easter Bunny, and an animal petting farm, all free on the day.
Easter Sunday brings top-class jump racing to Mallow, with a DJ in the marquee throughout the day. After racing, Andy Foley will perform in the top floor bar to keep the party going into the evening.
Bank Holiday Monday is Mega Family Fun Day, with complimentary children's attractions including a petting farm, face painting, characters, magic shows, and puppet shows. As always, children under 14 go racing free when accompanied by an adult.
Adult tickets are priced from €20 on the gate and online. The Panoramic Restaurant Hospitality package, which includes tickets, racecards, dinner, a reserved table, private bar, betting and balcony access, is available from €75 per person and is almost sold out. New for 2026, the Flexi Social Pack, which includes admission, a racecard, a bet, and a food and beverage voucher, is available in advance and online only from €35 and can be redeemed on any one day of the festival.
A courtesy shuttle service operates between Mallow Town Centre, Mallow Train Station, and the racecourse throughout each raceday, with timetables available on the racecourse website.
Eoghan O'Grady, Racecourse Manager, said:
"All the signs are very positive, ticket and hospitality sales are up, all races are sponsored and the buzz about the weekend is stronger than ever… It's set to be an egg-cellent Easter at Cork Racecourse Mallow."
