Cork Pride Parade to Bring Rolling Road Closures Tomorrow Afternoon
Route: Grand Parade to Kennedy Quay via Patrick St.

Cork city centre will see rolling road closures between 1pm and 2:30pm tomorrow (Sunday, 3 August) as the Cork Pride Festival Parade makes its way through the heart of the city, Cork City Council has announced.
The parade will begin at Grand Parade before winding through some of Cork's busiest thoroughfares, with An Garda Síochána managing temporary closures along the route to ensure participant safety and smooth traffic flow.
The procession will travel from Grand Parade through Patrick Street, turning right onto Merchant's Quay and continuing past Parnell Place Bus Station. From there, participants will proceed along Anderson's Quay before crossing the River Lee via the Eamon de Valera Bridge.
Once south of the river, the parade will turn left onto Albert Quay, passing the junction for Victoria Road and continuing along Kennedy Quay where celebrations will conclude.
Motorists planning to travel through the city centre tomorrow afternoon are advised to allow extra time for their journeys or consider alternative routes. The rolling nature of the closures means roads will reopen shortly after the parade passes through each section.
Bus services may also experience delays or diversions during the parade window. Passengers should check with their operators for any service updates.
The Pride Festival represents one of Cork's most colourful annual celebrations, drawing thousands of participants and spectators to the city centre. The parade route has been carefully planned to showcase the event through Cork's main streets whilst minimising disruption.
Those attending the parade are encouraged to arrive early to secure good viewing spots along the route. The city centre is expected to be particularly busy throughout the afternoon.
