Cork on a Fork Fest 2025 Returns with Five Days of Culinary Celebration
Cork on a Fork Fest returns 13-17 August with 100+ events celebrating the city's food culture.

Cork's premier food festival, Cork on a Fork Fest, is set to return for its fourth year, bringing a five-day celebration of the city's distinctive food culture from 13th to 17th August 2025.
The festival will feature over 100 events across the city, including chef collaborations, pop-up feasts, food trails and family-friendly activities, all showcasing the people, produce and passion behind Cork's dynamic food scene.
Among the headline events is the returning VQ Shared Table sponsored by Birra Moretti, a spectacular long-table dinner for 450 guests on MacCurtain Street. Twenty chefs from the city's Victorian Quarter will curate shared plates for what organisers expect to be one of the festival's most sought-after tickets, which go on sale 9th May.
The Emmet Place Festival Stage will host free cooking demonstrations all weekend from renowned culinary talents such as Aishling Moore (Goldie), Takashi Miyazaki (Ichigo Ichie) and Clodagh McKenna. There will also be a dedicated Talks & Tastings Stage featuring discussions on topics ranging from gut health to Cork's stout brewing traditions.
Family-friendly highlights include a Teddy Bears Picnic at Marina Market, a Children's Pizza Party Demo, and interactive cooking classes for kids at St. Peters. Food enthusiasts can join guided tours, including the Cork Food History Guided Tour and a special Producers Bus Tour visiting local artisans such as Hannas Bees, Frank Hederman's Tasting Room, and Ardsallagh Cheese.
Dining highlights include a Young Chef Collaboration Dinner at Farmgate celebrating the English Market, Breaking Bread: A Cultural Connection showcasing Cork's migrant community cuisines, and a Murder Mystery Night at The Imperial Hotel combining fine dining with interactive theatre.
The festival also celebrates Cork's drinks scene with brewery tours at Rising Sons and Elbow Lane, cocktail masterclasses with Rebel City Distillery, and wine tastings organised by MacCurtain Wine Cellar and L'Atitude 51.
The Lord Mayor of Cork, Councillor Dan Boyle, described the festival as "a true celebration of everything that makes Cork's food culture so unique", encouraging everyone to "get involved, support local, and enjoy the incredible experiences on offer across the city".
Cork on a Fork Fest is organised and supported by Cork City Council in partnership with local businesses and key partners including Fáilte Ireland, Pure Cork, Cork Airport, Cork Business Association, IHF Cork, the Irish Examiner and Cork's RedFM.
