Cork County Called to Rally Behind Rebels Ahead of All-Ireland Hurling Final
Cork calls on businesses to show their red and white pride as Rebels prepare for All-Ireland Final glory against Tipperary this Sunday at Croke Park.
With just three days to go until Cork takes on Tipperary in the All-Ireland Hurling Final at Croke Park, the entire county is being urged to paint the rebel county red and white in support of Pat Ryan's team.
Cork GAA has launched a county-wide campaign asking clubs, businesses, and communities to "Be The 16th Rebel" as the team prepares for Sunday's 3:30pm showdown. The call comes as Cork seeks to end a 20-year wait for Liam MacCarthy Cup glory, having last claimed the All-Ireland title in 2005.
Both Cork Chamber and the Cork Business Association have thrown their weight behind the campaign, encouraging businesses across the county to display their support visibly. From flying Cork flags to lighting buildings in red, every gesture of support is being welcomed as the team prepares for what promises to be a thrilling Munster derby final.

The business community's enthusiasm is palpable, with local leaders expressing immense pride in the team's achievement in reaching their first final since their heartbreaking defeat to Clare in 2024.
