Cork City FC's 2026 Rainbow Jersey to Raise Minimum €5,000 for LGBTQ+ Youth Services
Cork City FC's 2026 rainbow third jersey goes on sale today at €60, with a minimum of €5,000 from sales supporting Belong To LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland.
Cork City FC's newly unveiled third jersey for 2026 will do more than make a statement on the pitch, with sales set to generate a minimum of €5,000 for Belong To LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland, the national organisation supporting young LGBTQ+ people aged 14 to 23.
The rainbow-themed kit, featuring pride colours across the club badge, sponsorship, Rebel Army Clothing logo, and sleeves, is priced at €60 and is available now at the Cork City FC shop in Douglas Village Shopping Centre and online at corkcityfc.ie.
Funds raised will go directly toward Belong To's national youth services, crisis counselling, and educational initiatives. The organisation coordinates a national network of youth groups, provides training for teachers and youth workers, and offers family support services to some of Ireland's most vulnerable young people.
The club has partnered formally with Belong To for the 2026 season, building on a relationship that began in 2019 when Cork City became the first League of Ireland club to release a dedicated Pride jersey.
Erika Ní Thuama, Community Co-ordinator at Cork City FC, said:
"We are delighted to release our 2026 third jersey in support of the LGBTQ+ community and in collaboration with Belong To. Cork has an especially diverse and vibrant community, and we tend to support our own. As one of the first clubs in the League of Ireland to work with LGBTQ+ community in 2019, we felt it was important to reaffirm our commitment to inclusion for all within sport, as a player or a fan."
Kieran O'Donovan, CEO of Belong To and originally from Bandon, Co. Cork, welcomed the partnership:
"At Belong To, we know that visibility saves lives. Seeing the iconic Cork City FC colors side-by-side with the pride flag sends a powerful message to LGBTQ+ young people that they belong, not just in the stands, but in the heart of the sporting community. We are incredibly proud to partner with the Rebel Army to champion an Ireland where every young person is safe and supported exactly as they are."
