Cork City Council Launches Public Survey for Corporate Plan
Cork City Council launches public survey for new Corporate Plan to 2029. Have your say on housing, transport, environment and more.

Cork City Council has launched a new survey to gather input from the public on its Corporate Plan for the next five years. The plan, which will guide the Council's development until 2029, aims to establish a clear vision for Cork City's future.
The Corporate Plan will outline key objectives across several areas including social inclusion, sustainable and economic development, transport, housing delivery, community engagement, and environmental and climate issues.
Valerie O'Sullivan, Chief Executive of Cork City Council, emphasised the importance of public participation:
"The Corporate Plan acts as a roadmap for the decisions and the actions that will be set in place to achieve our long-term ambitions for our city. We want to build on what we have already achieved for the city and we would like to hear from you."
The survey seeks to capture residents' experiences of living in Cork, including preferred locations, activities, and desires for future developments. O'Sullivan added, "We invite you to help shape our Corporate Plan by completing our online survey."
Responses from this public survey will be combined with data from previous surveys on social and economic development to inform the Corporate Plan. While the Council may quote comments in the final plan, these will not be attributed to individuals. All personal information provided, such as age and gender, will be used solely for classification purposes, ensuring complete anonymity.
