Cannonball Ireland Raises Over €780,000 for Jack and Jill Children's Foundation
Cannonball Ireland raises over €781k for Jack and Jill Foundation, funding over 43,000 hours of vital care for sick children across Ireland since 2022.
The high-octane supercar event has delivered a phenomenal fundraising total since 2022, with Cork playing a starring role in this year's spectacular road trip that brought 200 supercars and over 250,000 spectators together across Ireland.
Cannonball Ireland has announced that its partnership with the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation has raised an incredible €781,914 since 2022, with €317,819 raised in 2025 alone. The total amount raised for Irish children's charities now stands at €2,271,716.
The announcement was made today at a presentation in Dublin, where six-year-old Femhe Flynn from Sallins met with Deirdre Walsh, CEO of the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation, and Alan Bannon, founder of Cannonball Ireland.
From 12th to 14th September, the annual event saw 200 spectacular supercars, hypercars, celebrities and participants in colourful costumes rolling through towns and villages across Ireland, creating unforgettable free family entertainment for over 250,000 spectators.
Cork proved once again to be a firm favourite on the Cannonball route. Both the Retro event and main event stopped in the county this year, with generous spectators turning out in force at Little Island, Ballymaloe and Fermoy.
The funds raised translate into real-world impact for families across Ireland. Circle K Ireland's nationwide campaign, "When You Fill, Support Jack and Jill", donated one cent from every litre of miles and miles+ fuel sold during the Cannonball weekend, generating €100,000 alone. This single initiative funded the equivalent of 5,555 hours of specialist in-home nursing care.
Deirdre Walsh, CEO of the Jack and Jill Children's Foundation:
"All of us at Jack and Jill are blown away by the funds raised this year through our partnership with Cannonball and Circle K, translating to 17,710 hours of in-home nursing and respite care for 456 Jack and Jill families nationwide. Over our three-year partnership, an incredible €781,914 has been raised, funding 43,438 hours of vital care."
She added that the partnership has been a true game-changer, not just in funds and care hours, but in community spirit and meaningful connection.
The Jack and Jill Children's Foundation provides up to 100 hours per month of in-home nursing care, respite support and end-of-life care for children from birth to seven years of age with severe learning disability, often associated with complex medical needs.
Alan Bannon, founder of Cannonball Ireland:
"Raising over three-quarters of a million euro for Jack and Jill is something we're incredibly proud of. Each year, the Cannonball family, our sponsors, participants, spectators and crew come together not just for the love of cars, but to make a real difference for Irish children and families."
Ciara Foxton, Managing Director of Circle K Ireland:
"It was fantastic to support Cannonball and the Jack and Jill Foundation again this year by running the 'When You Fill, Support Jack and Jill' initiative at Circle K sites across Ireland. The campaign continues to capture the imagination of our customers and colleagues, and we're incredibly proud that together we raised €100,000."
Now in its 15th year, Cannonball is the largest organised road trip in Europe, featuring some of the world's most prestigious marques including Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Aston Martin and Maserati. The event also delivers an estimated €2.56 million in economic benefit to host towns each year.
