Uisce Éireann crews have repaired a burst watermain in Cecilstown, County Cork, following an unplanned outage that disrupted water supply to several communities in the area.
The network is now refilling, and supply is expected to be fully restored to all affected customers by 5pm today, Monday, 16 March 2026.
Customers in Castlemagner, Cecilstown, Barragh Cross, Sally's Cross, and Kanturk experienced disruption to their water supply as a result of the unplanned outage.
Michael Bell of Uisce Éireann said:
"We understand the impact of an unplanned outage, and we thank the community for their patience while the repairs were being carried out."
