Beaufort Park in Turners Cross will close to traffic for six weeks from Thursday, Cork City Council has confirmed, to allow re-roofing and external plastering works to take place.

The road will be closed between its junctions with St Anne's Park and The Curragh Road, from 8am on Thursday, 13 August 2026, until 5pm on Thursday, 24 September 2026.

The works are being carried out by Tier One Contracting Ltd for two properties in the area.

No diversion route or details of the expected impact on journey times have yet been published. Motorists using this stretch of Turners Cross are advised to plan an alternative route for the duration of the closure.
