UPDATE 09:15: Traffic conditions on the M7 have deteriorated rapidly, with significant congestion now affecting multiple areas including Knockaroo, Borris-in-Ossory and the Portlaoise interchange.

What began as minor delays has quickly developed into heavier traffic as more supporters join the route to Dublin.

Motorists are advised to expect longer journey times and consider alternative routes where possible.

Traffic conditions are varying at the M7/M8 interchange toll plaza, with reports of congestion in the Midlink area as Cork supporters head to Dublin for today's All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final.

While some motorists have reported minimal delays, live traffic data indicates heavier congestion at the interchange, suggesting conditions are changing rapidly throughout the morning.

The M8 Rathcormac toll continues to experience only minor delays, with traffic flowing steadily despite increased volume heading to Croke Park for the 15:30 throw-in.

Supporters are advised to check live traffic updates before travelling and allow extra time for their journey to Dublin.
