Aer Lingus is taking Cork Airport to the next level this summer, with new routes to Nice, Santiago de Compostela, more Glasgow flights and year-round Prague!

Aer Lingus Expands Cork Airport Summer 2026 Schedule with New Routes to Nice and Santiago de Compostela

Cork passengers are in for a treat this summer, with Aer Lingus announcing two brand new European routes, increased Glasgow capacity, and a year-round Prague service from Cork Airport.

Aer Lingus has unveiled its most diverse summer schedule yet from Cork, adding flights to Nice on the French Riviera and Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, Spain, while also boosting its existing services to Glasgow and Prague.

The new route to Nice will operate twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, running from 2 May 2026 through to 30 September 2026. The Santiago de Compostela service, ideal for those embarking on the Camino de Santiago, will depart on Mondays and Thursdays from 1 June 2026 until 24 October 2026.

Prague, which previously operated as a winter-only service, will now run year-round with twice-weekly flights on Mondays and Thursdays, giving Cork travellers a central European escape no matter the season.

On the Glasgow front, Aer Lingus Regional, exclusively operated by Emerald Airlines, will increase its Cork service from four to six weekly flights from 25 May 2026, with new departures added on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

"We are delighted to see Aer Lingus Regional increase its capacity from Cork to Glasgow for our 2026 summer schedule as well as the addition of new Aer Lingus routes to Santiago de Compostela, Nice and the extension of Prague year-round. With these additions, passengers will have even more choice for travel from Cork Airport this coming Summer."

The airline also confirmed that its Bristol route will continue to operate daily, with two flights running on Mondays and Fridays.

In a separate development, Aer Lingus recently announced the extension of its 10kg carry-on baggage policy across all Aer Lingus Regional flights operated by Emerald Airlines, effective from 3 March 2026. Customers booking a Plus or Advantage fare will receive a free 10kg carry-on bag, while Saver fare passengers can pay to bring a bag on board or check it into the hold for free. AerClub members will also see their baggage benefits extended across the Regional network.
