200 Supercars Set to Roar Through Cork as Cannonball Ireland 2025 Route Announced
Supercars worth millions stopping in Fermoy & Ballymaloe Sept 12: Free viewing of 200 exotic cars for Jack & Jill charity.

- Cork car enthusiasts are in for a treat this September as Cannonball Ireland brings 200 supercars, including rare hypercars worth millions, through the county on a charity road trip that has already raised over €2 million for Irish causes.
Cannonball, Europe's largest organised road trip, will thunder through Cork on Friday, 12 September as part of its three-day spectacular from 12-14 September. The convoy, featuring everything from Ferraris and Lamborghinis to a rare Koenigsegg Regera hypercar and a one-of-one McLaren Senna, will make two stops in the county where families can view these automotive masterpieces up close, completely free of charge.
The supercar parade will arrive at the Circle K service station at Junction 14 in Fermoy at approximately 12:30pm for a fuel stop, giving local petrolheads their first glimpse of the exotic machinery. The convoy will then continue to Ballymaloe House Hotel, where the cars will be on display from 1:30pm until approximately 3pm during their lunch stop.
This year's line-up includes some truly exceptional vehicles rarely seen on Irish roads. The Koenigsegg Regera, described as a "megacar" that combines hypercar performance with luxury refinement, joins the McLaren Senna, a bespoke creation by McLaren Special Operations featuring a unique west livery mirroring its Formula 1 counterpart. The iconic Ford GT Heritage Series with its famous Gulf Livery also returns to the event.
The three-day route begins at Johnstown Estate in Enfield on 12 September, with helicopters circling overhead as the convoy departs. After passing through the midlands and stopping in Cork, the first day concludes in Killarney. Saturday sees the cars travel from Killarney through Limerick to Sligo, while Sunday's route takes them through Cavan and Meath before the grand finale in Naas Town Centre at 6pm on 14 September.
All proceeds from this year's event support The Jack and Jill Children's Foundation, which provides in-home nursing care, respite support and end-of-life care for children from birth to six years with severe learning disabilities and complex medical needs. Circle K, the event's main sponsor, will donate one cent from every litre of miles and miles+ fuel sold nationwide to the charity.
Beyond the automotive spectacle, Cannonball has become renowned for its festival atmosphere. Brazilian dancers, live music, DJs and participants in elaborate fancy dress costumes create a carnival atmosphere at each stop. Organisers are encouraging spectators to join in the fun by wearing fancy dress, with prizes for the best dressed.
Founded by Kildare businessman Alan Bannon, Cannonball has evolved into a significant economic driver for host towns, with an estimated benefit of €2.5 million annually. The event has already raised €2,024,809 for Irish charities since its inception.
For Cork families looking for a unique day out this September, the Fermoy and Ballymaloe stops offer a chance to see some of the world's most exclusive automobiles without spending a penny. Whether you're a devoted petrolhead or just curious to see what a million-euro hypercar looks like in person, Cannonball promises to deliver an unforgettable experience.
